April 24th: Pray for Peace in the Middle East

The Church of Scotland together with Christian Aid and the Scottish Episcopal Church, and in partnership with the worldwide ACT Alliance, is supporting a movement to pray for the situation in Israel and Palestine on the 24th of each month. Our sisters and brothers in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories have called for an ecumenical prayer vigil across the globe. This will continue until we can all celebrate an end to occupation and a just and lasting resolution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. Events take place each month and include worship, prayers and stories from people living in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories. A vigil will take place in Wellington Church on Monday, 24th April from 7 – 9 pm
