Glasgow Botanic Gardens: celebrating 200 years of flourishing growth

On May 20th 2017 the Gardens reached its 200th birthday and celebrated this momentous occasion with many activities in the Gardens for all to enjoy. Wellington Church Dumfries House visit

The Church outing to Dumfries House, well organised by Helen Sturrock and Kate Fyfe, took place in May and was greatly enjoyed by all.  The bus was filled with 30 very happy travellers who enjoyed the ride through Ayrshire before an interesting tour of the beautiful house built in 1754, saved in 2007 by Prince Charles’ fundraising and now opened for the public to see the wonderful Chippendale furniture and furnishings.  … More Wellington Church Dumfries House visit
