Would you like to study a Gospel in a little more depth during the season of Lent? Perhaps you are uncertain about what the Bible has to say about Jesus Christ. If you want to know more, then our studies in the gospel of Mark are just right for you!
The New Testament commentator C.F.D. Moule calls Mark “a little handbook for basic Christian instruction, simple, yet brilliantly dramatic—a stark, powerful presentation of the Christian facts: not a biography, but a portrait of Jesus as the one who not only proclaimed but somehow brought with him the kingdom of God.”
Every Wednesday evening from 7.30 to 9 pm we will be exploring the gospel of Mark. There will also be an opportunity for prayer built in to our time together. We will begin with refreshments and finish promptly at 9pm. Copies of Mark’s gospel will be available for everyone.
The dates are March 4th, March 11th, March 18th, March 25th and April 1st
Venue: The Library in Wellington Church.
Led by Roger Sturrock, Tom Moffat and John Bradley.
