Yura Zaiki, a student at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, will be giving a piano recital in Wellington Church on Saturday, 17th March from 3.00 to 4.00 pm. The concert is free but an optional retiring donation can be made. All welcome.
Yura was born in Japan in 1997. In 2011, she joined the Junior Department of the Royal Academy of Music where she won the First prize in the Iris Dyer Piano Competition. She was also awarded First prize in the Evangelia Tjiarri International Competition, Second prize in the Elena Richter International Competition and the Craxton Memorial Trust Award. She previously studied with Professor William Fong and now continues her studies with Jonathan Plowright at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with a full ABRSM scholarship.
